Hi guys, I have talked to Ryan on the phone a few times about securing a dyno facility for the shootout. The shop that we will be using is called Xtreme Horsepower. www.xhpsolutions.com The shop is located in North Richland Hills, Texas a very short distance from Dallas. The owner of the shop is going to work on dyno time pricing for the group depending on the participation. So the more people that are involved the better price you guys will get.

The dyno that will be used is a Dyno Dynamics dyno. These dynos read lower than the Dyno Jet dyno numbers most are accustomed to seeing on the internet. As far as accuracy, repeatability and tuning, you would be hard pressed to find better.

I'm in. Is there a specific date or location of anything yet? It all says TBD on the first post. If you need someone to help out, I can lend a hand. I'm local in Dallas. My car should be up and running within the week.

 

Jeff, I have added your name...The date is set, and listed as such in the first post. The city is listed, but the location of meet is TBD. We are speaking to both Sewell and Park Place Lexus. No commitment has been made yet. One thing that is helping is the names list is now at 34 members showing up to the meet. We are looking for a minimum of 50 members to show as a good start to incent the dealers to commit to us. Remember, our local dealeers are nice guys, but this is a business decision, and all though they love to help out, it is always better to provide a means of a decent return on their investment. The showing up and participation of many Lexus owners and enthusiasts, especially local ones, greatly enhances their opportunity to gain a return on their gracious investment to host our event. So, keep it up. We are almost there...Local members, keep on steppin up!!
