Well, like clifford said, Kaiser is the best man to talk to because he has a 1st gen GS300 with a 2jz-gte in it and he has also previously owned a 1jz-gte swapped SC. He did all the work himself so he knows pretty much everything you need to know about putting in a wastegate, boost controller and pretty much anything that has to do with the 2jz-gte/1jz-gte.

I was thinking more along the lines of dash disassembly and wiring schematics for constant and switched 12v sources.. **** like that..

It'd be great to have Kaiser along also, the more the merrier.

My house is always open.. If it's decided to come here, i'll PM my address to those who plan to attend.

Saturday and sunday works, doesn't really matter to me.. Would prefer nothing before 9-10am or so..

What kind of wastegate do you have, and is it recirculated to the downpipe or just dumped?

I would think replacing the WG spring would be the priority, since your EBC works based of the springs pressure as a baseline.

A good EBC will do about 125% on top of the wastegate spring. What spring is in there now?

I have an 11 psi spring in mine too and I run 16psi on the street. Sounds like something else isn't right. Is it spiking or overboosting?

My mother in law flies in on Saturday night so maybe I can persuade her to watch the kid on Sunday. No Guarantees. My wife is still doing her internship for 3 more weekends. Then I get some kind of life back.

Well my guage reads 1 bar at full boost. But i am debating if the guage is accurate or not. Do any of you guys have the tool to do a compression test?? I did mine before and it was at 125-126 all 6 cylinders. I asked the guys on Clubna-t they said the guage is probably messed up cause thats too low. Or maybe i got lucky and have a HG in there

The compression test tool can be rented or purchased from autozone/checkers.
