TX: El Paso lexus owners?
#76
Hey guys, hope all is well in El Paso. While I lived there, I had a hard time finding shops where they do good work on cars. The guys at Atomic on Mesa were able to get me the very first set of Japan-Spec Tein CS for the 2IS months before they were released in the US, so maybe they can help in getting parts for your cars.
I had to had the Tein CS installed at the Hoy Fox Infiniti dealership, because none of the other places I went to knew what I was talking about when I mentioned the word coilovers. The guys at Atomic said they would install them, but were afraid to touch the Lexus because they were afraid of messing the electronics in the car. The guy who installed my Tein CS/Tanabe exhaust was a Mexican dude with long hair that works there and knows his stuff. The only drawback to the whole thing was the price I paid ($800) to install the Tein CS/Tanabe exhaust, but I gladly paid it knowing that the guy knew what he was doing. So far, I haven't had any issues with the install, so you might want to go there and check.

not a bad starting point, hopefully soon if things go right for me i can get started back up on both of my GS's. And speaking of GTs i had a little fun with one the other day, i think it was an 09 or 2010, something like that. Anyways we went at it and i pulled on him till i got my tails in front of him, sure made my day haha. well hopefully we can all get together soon.

welcome man and its nice to have another GS owner and its looking good. As far as getting your ecu flashed, what exactly do you need it flashed for? In my opinion i wouldnt trust any shop here to do that, either send it in to a lexus dealer here online that might have a good price or take it to hoy fox. also if any of you guys want to meet up soon let me know im down.
