anyone running ksport coilovers???
hey guys, I have been talking with nick from ksport about some coilovers for my car, and he basicly gave me an offer I can't refuse on a set of Kontrol pros.
What is everyones first hand experience with ksport coilovers? How is the ride? how is the quality? Do they go low enough? ect.

From what I've observed with the 2GS specifically, is that they aren't the lowest coilovers but get low enought. I rode in KNEXX's GS and you'd think the height he's at the ride would be crappy, bouncy, uncomfortable, etc. But it was actually the exact opposite.
So if Nick offered you a deal, I say you should jump on it.

Sooooo did you get them ??? Any pics... and tell Nick you saw them on my car too. MexLex said it best... responsive, smooth, and sexy. I <3 my K's.... I scrape so the drop is nice...

I have them in my Z. My roommate James has them in his LS400.
I am happy with them. The ride feels nice and controlled, not bouncy.
Probably the best thing about them is that IF you ever have a problem they are local. Any type of warranty related stuff would be no big deal at all.

on one of the 240 forums (making nico club?) they had someone buy a NEW set of ksports and did a shock dyno, and they were all different. I've never had a set, but a friend of mine did, and his ride was absolutely horrible. It felt like it was riding on blown struts, and he had a medium drop on the coils

I've never had a set, but a friend of mine did, and his ride was absolutely horrible. It felt like it was riding on blown struts, and he had a medium drop on the coils

I've driven and rode in 2 different Lexus with Ksport's and they ride good. If they didn't ride good I wouldn't have put them in my own car or recommended them to friends. I'll vouch for the product.
A long time ago they didn't ride as good, they have come a long way though.
Anthony, if Nick is gonna give you a good deal for allowing him to make a kit for your car I would jump on the opportunity
