OK guys/gals,

What's there to do in Phoenix AZ? or nearby towns/cities?

Its going to be my first time in your state....so give me some suggestion on what to do while there for a conference.

I probably want to visit the grand canyon...but what else?

If you're here over a saturday night, Pavilions, would be a good time. It's a weekly car gathering in a local Scottsdale supermarket parking lot. Can be pretty big, usually is actually......grand canyon should be key though!

You said nearby, GC is 4+ hours away. Bring your clubs and play some desert links courses. They are dirt cheap right now with the economy. Where is the conference?

If night life is what you are after, there is plenty to do in Scottsdale. Where to go depends on what crowd you are looking for!

Bondurant is also here in Phoenix.

With the above said, spring training for MLB takes place here if you like baseball. check out the Cactus League website when you have a minute. Which Hilton is it? Where are you coming in from?

What time do you folks meet at Tempe Marketplace? How long does it last? I believe there's a baseball game that I'm attending...Dodgers vs. White Sox...starts at 1:05 pm at Camelback Ranch - Glendale.

I'm staying at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. Located at 11111 North 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85020.

My co-worker is renting a vehicle for all 3 of us....I think he's suppose to visit friends in AZ on Wed night.

Anyone driving pass the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort to the meet?
