***New Details Regarding Dallas Meet***
I am trying to get a meet together in Dallas on July 13. Jarrett, from Powerhouse Racing, will bring their turbo IS and I will have my turbo'd IS300 there too. I am trying to get this together, but I would appreciate any help organizing this meet. Any takers

I'll update0 you what is happening as things occur. Maybe you can give me a rough headcount on how many IS300 guys are coming. Is it 5, 10, 20?

You've got to be 5hitting me! First meet I was moving in to my new house, made it to the second one, was in Hawaii the last one, and now I'll be in El Paso for this one.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will be on another weekend.

fever, I really hope you can make it. I will be in Dallas on July 13, 2002. The location is still being worked out, but I think it is gonna be real big!

Fever...I feel your pain!! I have been out of town for EVERY one of these get togethers. I hope to show up at this one...assuming you IS guys can stand a GS showing up.

Ok, we have finalized the details regarding the meet in Dallas/Fort Worth. The date had to be pushed back a bit because July is a ratings period for tv stations and since I am the weatherman, I cannot take time off. So, we pushed the meet back until August 17. Park Place said they would rather do a meet during the cooler months after August, so we may have another meet there. Well, these are the details:
The meet will be at Powerhouse Racing's facility in Fort Worth Texas on August 17. My Powerhouse Racing turbo IS300 will be at the meet. We are expecting about 400-450 rwhp on the car, so it will pull hard. Jarrett will be there with his PHR turbo IS, and a few FAST supras. Dusty, the owner of MVP Motorsports will also be there. Dusty also promised me that he will bring atleast one of his 5 supras!!! He is the owner on the 8 second street legal supra that runs 8 second quarter miles!!!! THE SILVER BULLET!!!!
PHR's facility has lifts and a dyno. Jarrett told me he will have the dyno and lifts available so we can do dyno's, dyno comparisons (our turbo'd cars),... He told me if any of you guys are interested in dyno tuning your car, it can probably be done that day too! Not sure what dyno time costs, but we can get that info later. This will give you a chance to tune your car if you have a A/F controller like an S-AFC. Dusty will likely have parts available at the meet too.
Guys this will be the premier meet of the summer for the Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Louisianna, Arkansas,.... areas! We are hoping for a huge turnout. We want to invite all Lexus cars. This meet will be a co-meet with IS300.net and clublexus.com.

I'll try to make it...I was looking forward to next week and had rearranged my schedule to be able to go. Best laid plans...
August 20 sounds familiar. There may be a big show that weekend and if so, I'll miss the meet...sponsors first!

Park Place, we would still like to do something later this year with you if possible. After this meet, I will be in contact.
Rico, all I know of is an NHRA event the week before and a Hot Import Nights on August 3 (I think). I hope you will be able to make it though.
