I got rid of my GS350 about a year ago and got an LS460. The car is great and I love everything about it EXCEPT for the drivers seat. From day one the seat base just seemed lumpy. There was a TSIB from Lexus for the issue. The dealership did the work to install a new revised pad. This helped for about 7 months and BOOM the pressure points and pain was back. I went to Bell Auto Upholstery and had padding added to the base of the seat. I was initially a little worried about having a non Lexus tech doing work of this nature on the car but I was desperate and the staff at Bell Auto Upholstery were very nice, professional, and most of all, capable. I dropped the car off at 8:30 am and picked up the car around 3:30 pm. The tech, Many Jr, and myself decided to go with a higher density padding for the chair and it worked out well. The seat no longer creates pain in the sides of my thighs. I am even happier with my LS now that it doesn't hurt to drive or cause me to shift constantly. I will admit it was frustrating to drive a car as luxurious as the LS460 and feel like it was not comfortable a lot of the time


If anyone at Club Lexus needs some work done to a new or older Lexus they should feel absolutely confident taking their ride to Bell Auto Upholstery. They can add padding, redo the entire interior, or do repairs. I added some before and after pics so you guys could see the quality of the work as well as the very noticeable result. To me it looks OEM stock but just improved and more comfortable. I think the Lexus designers of the LS460 seat could take a little lesson from Many Jr at Bell Auto Upholstery.
