Does anyone know where you can test the performance of your car. Maybe do a 1/4 mile run or some other test to see how your car is performing? Thanks.

kennedale tx has a good 1/8 mile. prolly only a 20 min drive from ft worth.
ennis is th closest 1/4 and it is prolly 1 hour away.

Ennis is called Texas motorplex as for Kennedale I am not sure, It is a po-dunk town, so I am sure if you search the town you will find the track sooner or later.

 

Thanks again boredguy77. They (texas motorplex) have racing beginning on Sat Nov 1 and match you with (or you can pick your own) an opponent. Cost is $15 for as many 1/4 mile runs as you want to run. Will be out there to see how I do as well as my SC. Should be lots of fun.

I would be game, but we would have to start advertising now, and make sure that there would be a good lexus turnout. not just sc's or gs' but all models.

 

Yes, I plan on being out there Nov 1 (I will confirm the date/time with the track). E-mail me if you want to meet up. I've never raced before so I'll probably be saying that this guys beat me in that car and that guy beat me in.....

Well, cool I think it'll be a good race then. I haven't raced my car either.

If anyone one else wants to go I am going to start a new thread and I vote that if we get 5 or more people to post up that they are going we will add it to the official "meet" calendar and then the mods will more than likely add it to the announcements sticky. Otherwise it will fall under the "gathering" category.
