Can't wait for your impressions. BTW: What pads did you end up getting?
Thanks. Pads that came with the kit are Axxis Ultimates. Will post impressions soon. I've also got to test my 'other' mod (see Engine/Tranny section, hehe).

THAT is a beautiful sight! Funny, I just installed my 14" StopTech kit on Sunday (red calipers, X-drilled)... so far, I love them!

Just be sure to follow the break-in procedure- I am still paranoid about leaving my foot on the brake and intersections (to avoid pad deposition onto the rotor). I haven't really hammered them yet, but you can feel the amount of potential stopping power even during normal braking. I did the X-drilled OE size rear rotors, pads, and brake lines too. Nothing to it- a pretty easy install, but I took my time.

StopTech: "Supercharging for your brakes..."

Looks terrific!!

I don't think he can. The fronts for the 4-corners are tuned a little different than the fronts-only kit.

Very nice and I like the color, too. I'm curious to know what you think of the pads. Those HRE's are gonna be a lot more work to keep clean than my Volks which are alrleady gunmetal gray.

For those interested in the brake weights, I got info directly from StopTech. Here's what the guy described as 'approximate weights':

ST-40 caliper w/o pads = ~8.25lbs
Typical 355 rotor & hat assembly = ~15.50lbs
Typical caliper bracket = ~1.0lbs
Pads = ~1.0lb each
Lines = Same as the stock line
