Default Can IS 300 tow Uhaul trailer?

My sister wants to use this car to move the contents of her home with a 4x6 Uhaul trailer. The trailer weighs 850lbs empty and the towing capacity of her car is about 1,000-1,500 lbs. There is no tow equipment installed on the car. We are both concerned that the car rides too low to the ground to safely tow a trailer. She will be towing about 2,000 miles, some of which is dirt road. What do you think? Any suggestions? Thank you!

I'm not entirely sure about the answer to your question, but all things considered, I would probably do the reverse: rent a larger U-haul truck that can tow the IS instead.
