I think I may have made a mistake, I purchased the Excel Gshocks to replace my front two struts. They seem legit and our made in Japan. However, I also purchased KYB strut mounts and kind of after they were installed by a shop i found out the strut mounts themself were made in India and generally break before 20k miles.
so I just feel like I wasted a ton of money putting strut mounts on my car that I’m probably going to have to replace within the year. Am I wrong? Anybody else had a good experience with the KYB strut mounts.
thanks for your time everyone reading this

I think you'll be fine. Shouldn't be any reason why they aren't good. The internet is full of complainers and only those few make posts to vent their frustrations. The vast majority that install and never look back don't say anything. The higher likelihood is that the installer does a poor job on the strut machine and damages something. But there's no reason to assume that if all is well.
