SW,
what's your power goal? I'm guessing the W58 isn't going to hold the sort of power you are looking for. A R154 or V160 swap could be in order.. I'm about to A340->R154 my SC400.. the ECU is a bit of a pain. Most who want a manual will have to buy a 5 speed SC300 and then swap to a stronger box if they want big hp. I don't have that luxury with the 400 - never came with a manual, so I have to make the ECU get along with it.

The NA-T looks like a fun project though.. I'm thinking about doing it to a Supra one day when the SC4 is finished.

Canover system doesnt handle that bad. It has built in 6 way adjsutable damping.

Most guys just run supra offsets as they are very close to what the sc nesseciates.... You should get chris to measure under there to see if we can play around with the offset to get wheels to fit a little better.

I hate Trans Am's

Based on the fact that Boostlogic and Performance Motorsports is spitting distance from his dealership, I don't think that accomplishing his goals will be a problem. He also watched Clint build both of his SC's in the shop.

I think Mr. Fikse knows about offsets, I remember spending alot of time on a supra measuring to put a 11" wide wheel under the stock lip. I wonder what a Fikse wheel is going to look on a SC? I guess we are going to find out.

You should look at getting a Boost Logic Built transmission. They run one on an SC400 as well as a few 9 second Supras here in the states.

Fikses would look really nice on an SC. Maybe some FM10s.

dmora,

nah, like SW, I kinda prefer a manual for this car. Otherwise I could just get the A340 rebuilt for 500rwhp here for about 1500 US Dollars. I already have the R154, master cyl, slave cyl, pedal, and the bellhousing I just have to go buy as soon as my bodywork is done. Then just a clutch and tailshaft and I'm done.

I SECOND that motion, you have some AWESOME firepower in your arsenal. I dont know what it is about the 02 M5, that is so beautiful, the drop, the wheels, or whatever, good job overall.

Welcome to CL BTW!

SW - Maybe I'll swing by the shop, and you could help me locate a 97+ SC3???? Hehe. I'm really interested in starting the NA-T project after talking to kean quite a bit.
