Default Need rear struts for 2010 IS250C

I bought some new rear strut assemblies (strut and coil) for this car. After removing the old one, I noticed that the new one is 1.75 inches taller. Apparently the new ones are for the base IS250 even though the website stated they would fit the IS250C. I have not been able to find a replacement part so I am hoping someone can recommend an aftermarket part. If the entire assembly is not available, can you get just the strut part?

According to one of the many Lexus OEM parts websites I have used in the past, below is your OEM replacement shock P/N :

FYI, this would only be for the replacement shock body itself.

I just discovered the same thing (after removing original...) The side bolt holes don't line up. The ones I bought were Monroe Quick Struts, part #173370... I don't want to put factory struts on it. Way outrageous cost. Anybody with any other options?

I just noticed it looks like you can replace just the strut and use the original strut mount and coil spring?

I was not able to find a strut/coil replacement. Instead I bought just the strut from Amazon and it works just fine. It is a KYB #551132.

Did you install them yourself? How long have they been on the car now? I installed "base model" front struts on my IS350C and they seem to be working ok. I just wonder if the extra weight from the retractable top will be an issue... Thanks for the input, it's much appreciated.

Everything still okay with the KYB strut? I talked to Monroe to ask if I could just take the strut out of the Quick Strut # 173370 and use just it with my original strut mount and coil and they said no, it would not work. I noticed the KYB part number you used is for the base model also (according to rockauto).
