A few have asked where I installed the unit so here is a picture. I used the existing screw on the bottom of the steering column and a washer to spread the load over the clamp so that it does not bend into the hole in the column. Works flawless and easy to reach with no holes to drill and no silly double sided tape that fails on hot days.
I ran the rear wires down the drivers side under the carpet and the front wires through the firewall into the drivers side area. Everything is nice and sealed up to prevent leaks or abrasion.
