a friend of mine is looking to drop his GS4. which springs should he get? there's Tien springs on ebay that are cheap.. anyone running them? pros? cons? between the three (eibach, tien, H&R), which would
be the best?

Most of the members with teins here have the full-blown coil-over setups. H&R and eibach are both fine the Eibach Pro-Kit is essentially the same as the L-tuned (or vice versa) I think the L-Tuned is a re-labeled ProKit. If the tein price you see is really low I'd be suspicious as the coil-over prices tend to be double or more than what regular shock/spring setups go for.

I have the S Tech springs on my GS4 .I love them the drop is nice about 1.9 in the front and 1.8 in the back , correct me if im wrong. The ride is smooth , handles great. I was thinking of going coilover suspension too. but I was thinking I wasn't gonna be playing around with the ride height so what's the use on buying coilovers for $1200 . That's how I felt so I just brought the springs.

I agree....i have these springs and they ride great...its a very nice drop as well...Fr:1.8/ R1.7
