Scott,
the Apexi WS gives a significant better feeling then the standard springs/shocks. It feels more stabil, gives a more secured ride. Also it will enable you for higher curve speeds.

Especially when you also go for 18s or bigger rims, it will still give a very comfy ride, but with improved handling. If you stick will smaller rims, I would go for a stiffer setup, since I found the Apexi WS to soft with my previous 16s.
