Talking So, what did you get for Christmas?

Woot! I finally got my coilovers! They aren't JIC or TEIN, but Kei-Office coilovers, very firm ride (I now loathe every pothole and corrugations in the road) but damn they make the car responsive! Also I had the Soarer lowered by about 25mm all round. Anyway here are some pics...

That looks really good. One question, how wide are those wheels?

Big improvement. Looks good. You should just slam the car and take some pics for fun.

Thanks guys

They are 18x8.5" all 'round, running 235/40 up front and 265/35 up back.

You bet I will be! hehhe I've seen a few pics of yours, looks great! How far did you drop it? Mine's basically only a 25mm drop from stock height (about two finger spacing gap up front, and nearly no finger space gap in the rear)

Looks good but like others have said slam the car. It would look alot better with zero wheel gap.

I really have no clue how low my car is now. I never got the chance to measure my car when it was stock height. Plus with the JIC FLT-A2's there are two points where you can adjust the height and Ive been playing with them so much that I have no idea where the original settings were. Im tucking tire in the rear and I have no tire gap in the front. I basically HAVE to go sideways over speedbumps and be extra careful over steep driveways and what not.

BTW, is that a stock color??

Oh ok cool I've dropped the rear while it was at the shop (another 10mm, so I'm on about 35mm drop at the rear) and the fronts need a tiny bit of a drop too... but at the moment I have no problem with speedhumps nor driveways (and I've got the factory front lip).

Yup that's a stock colour (on Soarers I know)... Super Silver III (paint code 176)
