H&R Springs
Are H&R springs the same as eibachs? Will they go well with l-tuned struts? How is the ride quality going to be?

The H&R are different then the Eibach.
The give a nice drop and are still very comfortable. Please note that these do not drop as much as JDM springs, like HKS or Espelir.
I am convinced that they go well with l-tuned struts

00, I think i'm going with the H&R springs, and buying l-tuned struts, going with all l-tuned products i know they wont rub, and i H&R's are very similar, so i think they will be fine.

be careful the h&r are hard stiff and bumpy.. the spring rate is very stiff imo ref or crap , great for german heavyweights but not tuned for japanese babies
goto daizensportuning.com ,, they have true progressive rate springs with the biggest drop and comfy ride and matches well with ltuned shocks
front drop 1.9 rear is abour 1.5
a friend of mine just put his on yesterday and i will post pics today or tomm for ya
pm doublewoosh (tm engineering) tell todd ed (lexforlife) sent ya he will take care of ya

lexforlife: are the daizens the softest suspension, or is the l-tuned the way to go? I don't really care about performance, all i want is a small drop with very little ride degragation.

Blue98 and 00lex, the only thing that will affect rubbing is you offset of your wheels, If you have the right offset and tiresize you can drop you car 2.5inches and not have a problem.
Since both of you want comfort, then Ltuned is best, the Daizens are a pretty aggressive drop. Also because both of you have trunk work (especially you 00lex) beware that with Springs and Shocks the rear of the car will sit even or lower than the front due to added weight in the trunk that the springs are not rated for. If you look at my pics of the blue car in my gallery, you will notice that the rear is even and even a little lower than the front due to my stereo (this was when I had 2 12"s in a box with a amp!

For a mild drop, we have had very very good luck with Tanabe 1.5" springs and KYB shocks. These are $550 for the package, which is very reasonable considering you are getting premium parts all around.
The shocks should last the lifetime of the vehicle, and the springs are excellent quality.
This is the way to go if you are looking for a mild drop and don't want to break the bank.
We do have 1.9" Daizen springs also, but that would be a slightly more aggressive drop.
