I'm getting ready to order a GS 430 next week. My first Lex.
I want to get it lowered and put on 18" wheels right away. I live in Stockholm Sweden and the Lexus dealership here never heard of L-tuned. Instead they use tuning parts from Toyota Team Europe.
TTE have three kits:
1. A spring kit (1.2" drop).
2. Springs and shocks.
3. A height adjustable coilover set (up to 2" drop).
I noticed that GT Autosports sell all three.
So, I wonder if anyone has had any experience with TTE's stuff?
Any idea what type of shocks that might be?

Ahh, interesting. Thanks.
It doesn't make sense why GT Autosports would sell both L-tuned and TTE springs, but it would explain why they both are the same price.

they should be good
my understanding is that most of the L-tune items we usa to "upgrade" our lex here in the US are parts already available in europe as either an option, or part of the sport pkg for lex sold in europe. lexus car sold in the US have more comfort and luxury in mind.
however, over the past few years, corporate toyota/lexus realized the US market has greater potential in the "sports sedan" then they originally realized. therefore, to test the water, and minimize the cost, they simply took what are alreday available from other parts of the world and marketed as L-tunes.
since you are in sweden, i would highly recommend you to go for the TTE products. though i have never used these items, based on my belief and conclusion, TTE products should have even more performance in mind compared to the L-tunes.
TTE springs should be OEM by either eibach or H&R, as they are the two biggest springs mfg in the world.
TTE shocks should be made by the BILSTEINS. even the bilsteins sport shocks that are being sold here in the US has toyota emblem markings on them.
my advice is if your goal is more performance driven, go for the TTE, especially if you can get them cheaper in Sweden. TTE is kind like TRDUSA(toyota racing developmenmt). but tte has been in the racing/after market modification scene for some times.
finally, can you please tell me the dealers name/fax/email address in Sweden which cater TTE products? i would like to get an idea as to the price of their products in sweden compare to the US tte price.
my email addres is lexusbill@clublexus.com
thank you

Even though our currency is very weak against the dollar right now I would be extremely surprised if anything even remotely related to the car industry could be found cheaper in Sweden than in the US.
My guess is that Germany is where you will get the best deal on TTE.
I will get prices for the TTE products from the dealer on monday. I can mail them to you then.
If you want to talk to them yourself here is the email address: info@lexussvenska.se

The price in Sweden for a GS 430 with the Premium package is about $50,400 which should be the same as over there. They have also managed to keep the price very close to that all over Europe which is uncommon.
For some reason they list the GS 430 with only 284 hp here. Perhaps it is an exhaust thing? I have seen cars losing 3-5 hp (on paper) when sold in Sweden, but never 16 hp.
The only Lexus models sold in Sweden are:
LS 430, GS 300, GS 430, RX 300 and IS 200 (yes, only the 2 litre!)

Hey, it's even worse than that. Our metric horse power (hk) and your's (hp) are not exactly the same. One hp is 1.014 hk.
So it's actually only 282 hp here! If I'm not thinking backwards... No.
About the M3. What I can tell from BMW's Swedish and German sites it's got 338 hp in both countries. BMW USA specifies 333 hp.
The base price (which for obvious reasons includes the cold weather package) in Sweden is $51200.
