Unhappy abs problem ??????????

Help, Had my Gs300 for a couple of weeks now, on applying pressure on brakes a slight thumping feeling can be felt and heard throughout the car, sounds like abs kicking in, but why the noise?
the car brakes as it should, feel's like a prop shaft through the car but only when pressure on brake peddle! any idea's anyone?

umm that's weird. do you feel any vibration on the steering wheel when you brake? and does the car shake or jerk when you brake? that happens even when you brake slightly? i wonder if it's a warpped rotor or bad pads

Car drive's perfect. brake's in straight line, it sound's like the abs, no vibration through steering, car brakes as it should! im wondering if rear pad's are low! parking brake does not hold the car either, fully pressed! im thinking along the line's of low pad's!
the noise is just a blip per revolution of the wheel! so at 50 mph it sounds quite fast and slow's down with the braking of the car!
If i said that a disc had a slight pertrusion of some kind, ie: something stuck to the disc, every revolution of the disc the pertrusion would hit the pad and you hear the little noise! It sound's just like that, the faster you're going, the faster the noise!

According to your profile, this is a 1994 GS300, right? Even with a Lexus, a ten year old car can be prone to a few things that a newer car isn't. There are a lot of things I might live with, but a possible brake issue isn't one of them. Hope you have someone good to take it to, brake problem diagnosis over the internet may not be very wise.

Default brake's!

Thank's Guy's, I keep 747's flying in the air, no worrie's of anything dangerous here!
I've had many top marque car's, First time i've owned a Lexus, had it two week's now and that's the only problem that i have found, and believe me, i have hunted! Haven't had time to warm my spanner's yet, just thought if any of you guy's have ever encountered this problem! Im going to change the pad's all round and check the disc's! start with the easy part first! Call me stupid, but what parking brake mechanism is fitted to these car's? is it the diff brake or wheel disc! I haven't even climbed under this car for an examination yet! Thank's Guy's.
