Help me out guys with supra tt suspension.
I have the shocks/struts, now i don't know what springs to get. I have a sc3 with 19's. I read that people are using eibachs but how low does that put your car to the tires. I want a comfortable ride with a sporty feel to it. Nothing too rough. Thanks for the info.

I have a set of eibach TT springs in excellent condition that I purchased from another CL Member & ended up not using, as I found a complete set of eibach / Tokico's for an SC that I will be using. PM me if your interested.

You can't mix-n-match TT and SC shocks and springs (at least for the rear). If you already have shocks for an SC, you'll need SC springs as well. If you want to go with TT springs (slightly stiffer), you'll need to get at least the rear TT shocks. The spring mounting point on the rear TT shocks is different than the SC's.

The TT rear swaybar is also part of the package;the Eibach springs are engineered assuming that you have this on the car.
I would imagine that the SC Eibach rear springs are firmer to compensate for the lack of a firm swaybar.

SC shocks = SC springs
You cant mix and match because the spring is seated differently in the rear. So to answer your question, you must use TT springs if you get the TT shocks.

As long as you maintain the same outside diameter and the offsets are within factory allowance, your 19s will not rub with Eibach Supra springs. Mine dropped the car about 1.3 in the front and 1.0 in the rear. Removing the spare will raise your ride height if needed.

i installed the supra shocks with eibachs tonight. im putting my 19s on tomorrow. Ill be sure to post pics. rears are 275s with a 30 series tire and the fronts are 245 with a 35 series tire. Hopefully it fills it out nicely. Since the springs havent settled yet, i cant be 100% sure on measurements, but will post before and after pictures.

+39 fronts +37 rears
no dice on getting them mounted though. Wrong lug nuts given to me...going to be a little bit of a wait before i get the right ones. I was quite a bit upset last night to say the least.

i hope i don't have too many rubbing issues because of my offsets. the rim seems pushed out pretty far out to the fender wall. if i drop it, it looks like i'm going to have major problems. I guess I will find out in a few weeks .

the +40 offset will actually set the wheels in more than mine. It is only 1mm in front and 3 in the rear, but that can make all the difference. Hopefully ill have my wheels mounted this weekend, but due to some misunderstanding and obvious incompetence on someone elses part, its not looking so bright.
