Help...me ! !
Hi Everyone...I'm a new owner of a 2001 Lexus IS300. I've been fixing up Integras for the past 6yrs. Ever since my last car got stolen I made up my mind that it was time for something a little more grown up...just a little! So...now I got a IS300 and I don't anything about the after market things that are out. I want to lower my car, I really really want to get springs, but I have a feeling there's no springs low enough for my preference. I don't want to get coilovers mainly because they are expensive and I know I'll always will be messing with it here and there...so what I'm asking is if you ClubLexus Pioneers...lol, can help me with pics of IS300's on H&R's, TIEN S-Tech's, Tanabe's, Eibach's so I can make up my mind on what to get. I'm planning on rolling on some 18's so what ever you can do will really be appreciated, THANX A MILLION!

Let me be the first to say welcome to CL!! You may want to take some time and do searches on you topics as they have been discussed extensively before. Grab a cup of coffee and start reading......

Welcome to CL. Yes it all depends on what you want for your IS. Is this your primary daily driver? Do you want comfort/performance? There are many things than can account to what you want and what you need for your IS. You can't go wrong with Tein S-Tech or Eibach Springs if you do decide.

Well... thanx for the response guys! Well yeah it is a daily driven car. I can't stand having a stock looking car I need to lower it and put rims on I just want to know if could get away with H&R's (hoping the drop would look tight...)

The black IS could be H&R or at least very close. The yellow is is definitely
a coilover system. The H&Rs should give you the most drop out of
all the springs you mentioned. Close to 2" after setteling. But definitely
the Eibach/L-tuned springs will not give you the drop you are looking for.
They only gave me close to a 1" drop.

the trick is to never go "head on" towards anything steap, always take it a little slow, so the car don't bottom out from the bouncing, for steap driveways take it one wheel at a time for instance driver side front wheel first then the passanger then the rears....hope that made sence...
