Default So whats the deal with rear control arms?

Will supra control arms fit the rear?

Also... does the ride quality become harsh if I were to use Daizen for the rear control arm bushings?

I just spent 400 on new supra lower front control arms and about 275 for vlamos upper control arm bushings... i am running out of money just on maintenance quick...

does anyone know if its okay to have daizen rear bushings and soft/stock bushings for the front?

You're about to find out (the rear daizen bushings - give me two weeks).

Sure it's ok to have stiff rears and soft fronts. Your car will be relatively safe (understeer).

actualy... theoretically... stiff rear and soft front should produce oversteer (which is totally fine by me... i love going sideways)

please keep me updated

That's impossible. A soft front will allow more change in toe than a stiff rear. But you are right in another way, there'll be more weight transfer to the rear outer wheel caushing the tread to distort a bit more. I read on Planetsoarer.com that someone had poly bushings in the front and worn out bushings in the back. The person's car would fishtail pronouncedly.

well on my mr2.. thats exactly what i experienced

with the suspension stiff on the rear... it doesn't allow for much travel causing all or most of the stress to be absorbed byt the tires

but yes i also do see your point...
