I've noticed their auctions on eBay as well. My only concern is if the vendor is certain that their bar will clear the engine of an SC400- there is not much clearance 'tween the V8 and the hood.
I'm not as concerned about whether or not it is as strong/stiff as the more expensive bars, since I don't have any suspension mods and our cars are built so solidly in that area that some have commented they can't even feel much of a difference once the bar is in place.

The bar isn't supported evenly throughout. Thin endlinks of the bar will break very easily or twist easily if you drive hard enough. Hell, I know someone who snapped his bar and it was a performance bar!! (not gonna say the company or name)! With that said, I don't really notice a difference between having a bar and not having one. It's more of a geometrical security thing for me since my sways are pretty strong.
