I don't know how long it took. $300 was the Tein install. Another $140 for the EDFC.

My L-Tuned at the Lexus dealer were $440 to install including alignment. My price above for the Teins didn't include an alignment, which I need to get ASAP.

From what ive heard, it may be better to wait another week or two to let the suspension 'settle' dont wanna get an alignment only ot have it thrown off a week later!

i heard the same thing. had mine installed in oct. and did an alignment later that month.

had it done again this month as it seemed to be pulling to the right. tech said front and rear were both way off from specs.

i also noticed a bit of inside tread wear on the front.

i'm gonna have alignment checked again at the next oil change. they said they would do for free.

When my friends and I installed HKS LS+ in a 1999 GS400 it took about 4 hrs. We ran into a couple problems too. The rears are a piece of cake.

No possible way. Maybe 1 hr for the EDFC alone, although I don't want people rushing.

you must have superman on nitrous putting on your coilovers

thats only 15min to take off a shock and spring at each corner and put the coilover on and adjust how high it sits. what planet is your mechanic from?

Most well known wheel/suspension shops out here in cali charge about 1.5 hr labor ($75-150) for a coilover install. It's the shops that are not too familiar with coilovers or "see" a Lexus, that charge 2x that amount. Most shops will not and should not charge you extra for the time it takes to get the right height adjustment of the coilovers. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times on the rack to adjust the coilovers to the perfect ride height.

EDFC should take no more than 3 hours to install. Most of that time takes place running the cables through the firewall and to the back of the car.. I was lucky to get the instructions in English so it made it easier for the shop to install.
