I've been thinking about my suspension, I bought the car less than six months ago and I've been working on it from the inside-out. Right now, everything inside is perfect for me, in fact, I can't think of anything I'd want that I don't already have. So now it's time to consider the looks and performance.
The Tein CS sound like the right choice for me - and that is shocking, especially to me. My other car had Neuspeed racing-series springs and then racing coilovers. I was using KYB shocks set to max stiffness to compliment these. You could literally jump onto my car and the car wouldn't budge. This is what I loved... but it also had its drawbacks. I removed all my stereo gear, amp, sub, etc in that car and downgraded to the simplest radio/cd. What I enjoy in that car is feeling the road, listening to the engine/exhaust and the turbo bov. But in the lexus, I don't want to hear the road, I don't need to hear the engine, I want that lexus interior secured - and so Tein CS sounds like the only choice for me. Not to mention, taiwan roads, not so great. The only place I could even reach over 100km/h would be the highways and they are beautifully smooth, - i assume Tein CS max stiff will be just fine for this kind of driving.
As for the engine, yah, I really would like a turbo though.... haha :P
Oh QUESTION TIME: I'm on 18s right now... for all of you who upped to 20s, what do you think? The main reason I might wanna go 20s is to be able to sport a bodykit and still look good without scraping the ground everywhere I go. This city is not designed for lowered cars and there isnt a single underground parking lot (except mine hehe) that I could get into dropped all the way on 18s

with the tein cs, flex, and ss all capable of adjusting the damper, how LOW can you adjust each of these 3?
i'm on 19's and looking to go down to 1 finger all around (with the option of maybe a lil lower all around later; hehehe) pls chime in guys! help!

The basic review can easily be biased depending on which camp you're starting in.
Tein guys may stress the performance and they are willing to pay the price for the quality. A Megan fan may say Teins don't ride well slammed and stress how the Megans are good for the money. Both views may be true to an extent and depending on what your specific needs are (handling vs slamming these are two different camps so apples to oranges), however "anyone" that says anything sucks without giving a technical / analytical explanation as to why, I give no credibility. That type of comment is unqualified and demonstrates NO technical expertise. For me those people immediately go on to my "ignore" list.
Not trying to stir up the pot here, but just calling it how I've seen it.
