Default price of suspension work on SC

how much did it cost for all of you SC owners to replace springs and shocks on your SC's or even the price quote from shops, Just for labor i mean. there is alot of sc owners that lowered there cars i just need like a rough estimate on how much it cost. all suggestions will be appreciated. thanks fellas.
p.s. shocks and springs not coilovers

Abboushi, I had a shop quote me $137 per side to replace my struts/shocks, after that quote I didn't even bother asking about the springs, I'll just do it myself with a buddy.

I believe that in order to change the shocks you have to takes the springs off. So if it costs $137 per side, it shouldn't cost any more to add a different set of springs.

i got quoted 400-500 for the whole car is that average or is there better prices out there.

have you ever worked on any suspension before... if so this install is really not hard at all. I know when I did it, it didnt feel like I was doing $400-500 worth of labor!!! - you should see if there are any CL members in your area that have done it and see if you can get them to work for beer! I know I would if I were near by. All you need is a spring compressor , torque wrench, and a nice wrench / socket set... air tools are nice but not a necessity. I meant to do a whole write up with pics, but got tierd of taking pics after about the first couple minutes .
