Anyone try this combo? My suspension has been shot for a while and i finally decided to get it fixed.

Anyone try the tokico illuminas for the supra tt with espelir springs? i haven't seen the illuminas for the sc that's why i'm getting it for the supra tt. mostlikely i'm going to buy in a week so any help would be appreciated. i don't want my ride to be too rough that's why i'm not getting the kyb shocks..

Hey man I could quite possibly be wrong but I think if you buy the TT struts then you need springs that are made for the TT, and aren't those Espelir springs made for the SC's ??

espelir does offer GT series springs for supra

the supra espelirs doesn't really offer a drop...

well, then you'll have to either get the tien spring, the eibach springs, or whatever supra springs if you insist on using the illuminas. You must use the supra springs with supra struts, period...

do you know which springs offers the most comfort?

just checked koni for you, and they said that the spring seat is adjustable. therefore, you can still use the espelir for supra and lower the car more if it's not for you. However, the gt series springs are stiffer than the asd series.

I went ahead and installed Espelirs (SC) and Tokico blues (SC) and am loving it! I'd go ahead and go this route and forget about the Illuminas...lol

How's the ride quality with this setup? Any pics of the drop?

what size rims do you have? any rubbing issues? i have 19's with a 40 offset i'm scared i might have some rubbing issues. 275 in the back. shouldn't be a problem though

I have TT rims and no rubbing for me. The drop is just like Tonys and Howies. I have to really slow down going over bumps but overall It's pretty smooth for how low it drops.

why do you have to slow down over bumps? the tire will hit the fender? or your bodykit?

I gotta slow down or else the bottom will scrape. Happened twice already when I thought I was ok but nope, "SCRAAAAAAAAAPE"

got the same setup installed last thursday, here are my impressions

1. Ride is perfect on most roads, but can make you fly off your seat when you hit a bump or a pot hole. The front is perfect but the rear is a bit bouncy(hopefully it will smooth out after the springs settle)

2. Handling is incredible. No need to "sustain" the steering after turns...etc, and I'm a total coward for this suspension(I think i'll pee my pants before the suspension gives up...) It turns really sharp and quick. I haven't felt any body roll since the installation, but it might be the fact that I start flying around inside the car before the car starts to roll so I never felt it. Damn stock seats

3. Even with the 1.5 drop, the clearance in the front is still good enough and the wheel gap is totally invisible.

I haven't scrape my bottom yet but in my case, I slow down to avoid the annoying "bouncy rear".
