Default Caliper Paint & Stickers

Does anyone know where to get
Brake caliper paints and stickers for the IS300?

What's the best brand caliper paint?

I went with a company called G2. You can find the full system on the web. It is specifically designed for the high heat environment of automotive brakes. It is around 60$ if I remember correctly and comes in several colors. You will have to mix several parts together and then you have a limited window to apply. Great directions and real easy to DIY. You just need to be able to get at all four corners at once. Check www.flatlinegraphix.com for stickers. Purchased a set in white and used on red Calipers (Black Onyx SD). Looks fantastic in my opinion. That being said I spend a lot of time reading is300.net and if you search you can see a lot of people doing a lot of different things from spray paint to clear coat and everything in between. I thought the G2/Flatline combo looked great and 10k miles later it still looks fantastic.

Just a quick add-on. I realized after I added the link I better check it out and make sure it works. I ordered mine through the is300.net store in Oct 03. Low and behold the website doesn't seem to be up. Nor is .net so you can still click the link and call the number I guess.

i used G2 as well (and i love it), but i've heard VHT is good as well...it's a caliper paint that you can buy at pepboys or kragen? it comes in a spray bottle, so i would recommend buying some brushes, spraying the paint into a bowl, and then painting it on for more accuracy...you can get calipers stickers from .NET or tunedparts.com.

What's the best brand caliper paint?

I used VHT caliper paint. Excellent finish and chemical resistant. Then applied a clear coat over the caliper decals for protection.

What brand / PN was the clear coat? VHT doesn't make Hi Temp Clear as far as I know.

I have good old Gloss Black Engine Enamel on mine.

I was my local Advance auto store and they had a new brake caliper paint kit by Duplicolor you might want to check out (probably at Pep Boys or autozone too). See link below.

If I remember right it was about $23. I personally have G2 on my brake calipers and love it (would do it again), but it's pretty expensive compared to the other solutions listed here.

They have a nice how to writeup as well

17" Silver and Graphite were available since 2001. Graphite wheels are an option and usually standard on the manual packaged versions.
