Default Loose steering 03 gs300

We have a 03 GWe have a 03 GS 300. At highway speed it has a mind of it own. It seems way to sensitive. Bought the car new, complained about it and told it was normal! The even checked 4 wheel alignment and said everything was OK. It checks out normal. I say B.S. We had a 98 Gs 300 that drove fine. My wife and I are sure that a car in this price range shouldn’t make us feel uncomfortable driving at highway speeds. My 95 pathfinder with 145,000 mile drives better. Any one have this problem with their Lexus? What was the fix!

PS Yes I did the search thing, and from what I read back to (2 year ago ) leans towards the ECU
What do you think

Thanks
Unhappy Lexus Owner

Have you check the PSI on the tires? Too much air pressure will cause sensitive steering. What size of tires and rims do you have?

Maybe its time to upgrade to LTuned ECU....that should stiffen up the steering wheel. Contact Steve at Carson Toyota.

what rim/tire sizes do you currently have, and what was on your previous GS?
Putting bigger rims/wider, lower-profile tires will significantly improve the steering feel.

What mods were on your previous GS?

Also, did you try-out a similar 03 GS300, and how was the steering on that car?
