SubFrame Mounts for TT Swaybars
Okay, lesson number 1: Do a SEARCH and read EVERYTHING before you go out an buy a part for your car.
So after skimming a few posts on Supra Sway bars, I set out and purchased a used set. I inquired about the mounts and was told that all mounts would be included. Bars arrive; sway bar mounts included but SubFrame mounts NOT included!!! So I have the sway bars, but do not have the appropriate brackets to mount them onto.
So my questions is.... where can I find these brackets??? I already emailed a few people on Supraforums but no replies. Can someone point me in the right direction. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Contact Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota (he's a member here, but I don't recall his ID at the moment. Alzheimer's is a b*&ch! ) Do a search. When I got my subframe mounts, he had the best prices, about $68 each.

wmulli: Thanks for the info. I will contact him if I cant find a used set.
Does anyone know if the subframe mounts from a Supra TT and N/A are interchangeable with TT sway bars? Thanks in advance.

It's highly likely that the supra n/a and TT mounts are the same because the TT bars are a direct swap onto the supra n/a.
p.s. - That mount on supraforums will be mine!

of course the supra guys are going to say all mounts are included. All theyre thinking is the little bracket that mounts the sway to the subframe mount. Sucks though...i got misled the same way. =)
i asked if they were the subframe mounts...he said yes...
but i guess i see where he misunderstood. Theyre more like the subframe mount mounts.

I havent yet. I have a TT friend that just replaced his subframe assembly and said he has the mounts laying around the shop somewhere. Im going to go down and look for them when i get the chance. I have had the bars sitting in my garage for a few months already waiting to go in.
Has it been determined that the front bar is the same?

Not at all! The stock TT bars are about 17% stiffer than the stock SC bars. You'll notice improved flatness on turns and a slight increase in oversteer. If you got them cheap, it's worth putting them on. Only takes about 20 minutes. If you're spending money though, go with the TRD or Daizen bars.

Ah. So it is only the shape that is the same but they are thicker. When i asked if they were the same, i thought that they were identical in terms of shape AND rigidity. Thanks. Fronts are going on this weekend. Rears are pending mounts.
