koni yellow vs tokico illuminas?

which shock preforms better with a softer ride? i need to buy a new suspension soon and i want to find a comfy ride with good preformance.

also i found out that koni's have to be adjusted while they are OFF the car... is this the same for the illuminas?

I have the illuminas and they are adjustable on the top of the shock tower. On 1 they are like stock and 3 is close to the tokico blues and 5 is a little harsh.
