I've had the TRD race sway bars on the car for a few weeks and the ride improvement never ceases to amaze me.
First of all, the stock sway bars are grossly inadequate for the IS. Any amount of spirited driving results in body roll and quick steering input results in the chasis being upset.
The TRD sway bars are 50% stiffer in the front and 100% stiffer in the rear. This setup allows the car to remain flatter in corners. It also allows higher entry and exit speeds into corners.
They are high quality units that bolt directly to the factory mounting points.
IMO this should be the absolute first mod done to the IS.
01 IJM w/LSD, 5Zigen wheels, Toyo Proxes, 5Zigen exhaust, TRD race sway bars, TRD adj. shocks, Blitz filter, springs soon.

Sophie,
Still hangin' out here I see...
Anyway, the TRD parts can be obtained from your local Lexus dealer.
I've seen the Cusco sway bars on Bottle's website.
I hope this helps.
