wusup now here's wut i'm workin' with

see how it's positioned a little angled up not straight vertical

now here's a pic from the back with the stock calipers after i cut the dust sheild away 4 the calipers. after i tried, should've taken pics, put the stocks back on.

that's weird
but i'm probably going to get the rotor machined down, in diameter, after i take some measurements.

just lettin ya'll know what the deal is

Alright, i got a question. This one's not stupid i promise. Why is it that when people are showing pics of their Ls brake rotors, sometimes they are crossdrilled and sometimes they are not? Is there a difference between the Ls front and rear brakes so one is drilled the other isnt? Jus wonderin should i b lookin for Ls rotors that are drilled or no.
Also on a side note, I understand that the clearence for rims needs to be 2.75 inches, and I am hoping that the 18 inch Is350 rims will do that. (anyone know if they do, let me know so i dont have to figure it out as i dont even have the rims yet) thanks.

I know that the IS350 has 4piston calipers from the factory, but not sure if they are a more compact size than the LS400s.

The only thing is that I always believed that these calipers needed to be modified in order to fit on the GS (and thus the SC or Supra). ... I really hope I am wrong.

Supra Calipers are $80 ea new. How much less could these LS calipers be? Supra brakes with aftermarket rotors have over 1710BHP of stopping power for the fronts and 1100 for the rears. Here is a link.

Do you have the actual specs of stopping power for these LS Monoblocks? How much are they?

The brakes I am more interested in are the new IS350 monoblocks. Those are retarded powerful- just wondering how $$$ much are they...

not without fabbing a custom mounting bracket. If you are going with the LS or Supra calipers, the OEM rotor route is clearly the best value. Even at only 12.1-12.4", the stopping power is very significant.
