Default Painting My Calipers

I want to paint my brake calipers red. What is the best kit/paint? People that have done it, give tips and comments if you would. There are many on ebay and I’m sure if I go down to my local parts shop, many there too. Any, that are really worth buying? Thanks.

Justin,

This question has been asked MANY times on CL, if you'll try the search feature you'll fine a bunch of them right away, no waiting for people to reply .

Here are some I found in just a couple of seconds by searching for 'caliper paint':

I just recently purchased the G2 paint system because other members had such good things to say about it. It is a brush on system that is easy to use. The only downside I can see is the clear coat is "built in" so if you have any stickers on your calipers then you may want to spray on a clear coat over them. I will hopefully be able to do my calipers this weekend. The kit isnt cheap though. I got mine from stylinconcepts for around $36. They were about the cheapest I could find.

I got some 1200 degree auto spray paint from AutoZone and a brush. Went home, took off the wheels, sprayed the paint into the paint cap, and brushed it on heavy. Took all of about 15 minutes to do all four. Been about 3 months and still lookin clean! Cost me like $6.00 for paint and brush.
