Default Looking to replace your old bushings???

There was thread going on about this but due to peoples badmouthing each other it is closed now
So here goes:
I've talked to parts department at my local Lexus dealer/stealer/**** intruder/whatever you wanna call them, they do offer lower control arm bushings for both front and rear.

Front lower control arm bushings: $53.13 each/one part# 48645-42040 but he could only confirm that this is listed in their computer for 97 and up models but assured me that they can get bushings for 92 and up also because he said they are working with someone in CA that manufactures these for them

Rear lower control arm bushings: $38.82 each/one part# 47285-24700 for 92 and up

Lexus of Tacoma in Fife, WA
253-922-7100

Hope this will be useful for ya'll

$53.13 each? So a set for the front lowers would cost around $212.

something like that
also he said that the ones for $53 can be ordered at any dealer
weird thing is tho, he said that they list another bushing for same 97-up for $67.91
he could not give me the part number for that one, all he said that these are listed in his system as #1 and #2 as in left and right /not very helpful, hehe, try telling these guys that they charge out the a$$ for labor/
also he could not give me part #'s for pre-97 but assure d that those are available or made on request

Unfortunately I need to do my ball joints too so I am in for new LCA's in any case, nonetheless this is still good to know. I wonder what company they are working with to get them ?

You are the man! Thanks for the info, even if it doesn't pan out for me at least you were helpful and forthcoming

Update: I just called Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills and the numbers don't come up in their computers So I guess I have to call Lex of Tacoma and see how much it is from them. Being that the place that makes the bushes is in CA I want to see if I can go there personally but I doubt it. Crapola! I'll post what I find...

they probably wont give out the name of the company because if we found out they would end up in a group buy on CL

Another member pointed me to this thread

I have a local distributor here in California that we can get 90-95 SC300/400 front LCA bushings, price is set of 2 for each arm,polyurethane-$84.00 x 2

He told me there working on the rears, he couldn't give me a date

Steve, that's a good price don't get me wrong. But we're trying to find an alternative to the Daizens in terms of a rubber bush that won't need constant regreasing. I'm so fearful of squeaking I won't touch anything that's polyurethane. We can get the DST's for about $100 for the front lowers and the price from your distributor is $168. I may be tempted to go your route if squeaks weren't an issue. What's your overall impression of these bushes from your Cali distributor? How would they stack up to the Daizen's? I'm just trying to get as much info as I can before I dive into this project.
