Hey Guys,
Just recently I noticed that the steering on my 92 SC400 is very loose. I can be driving totally staight and have my wheel turned a little bit to the left or right. Is there any way to tighten up the steering? Also the telescoping wheel stoped going up or down. The motor clicks but the wheel wont move. I dont want to replace the telescoping motor because it would cost a fortune. Can I just manually move the wheel into my driving position and have it stay there?

sounds like the bushings on your ps rack might be gone, or going.
that has happened to a few sc300 guys. its about the right age, especially if any ps fluid got on the bushings like mine did.
