Question Brake Upgrade....How?

I have a 95 SC400 and i have never really been impressed with the braking system and how they feel. So i was wondering if there was a way to upgrade them with out braking my pocket too badly. What would i need to improve them but still last as long as the stock braking system now?

LS400 4-piston setup..it's all over this section..

I can't believe i'm writing this..but.....do a search..that's the easiest way..
level 1: LS400 4 piston calipers with new rotors or you can use stock rotors. either way you have to make sure you have space for the extra pistons-high disc rims are needed..$300-$400 for used LS400 calipers and some new rotors.
level 2: supra upgrade big brake upgrade(do a search) $500+
level3+: do some custom stuff..like stoptech or other aftermarket brands up to 6piston brakes($1000-5000) <kind of overkill, but...
I hope that gets you started..

Actually, level 1 and 2 are somewhat equal. I actually prefer the LS setup. For now, better price point. I know someone who got them and they seem lighter than the TTs (sorry, no hard numbers). I actually also like the look of the LS over the TTs.

The cheapest upgrade would be better pads and SS lines. You can throw in new rotors for good measure. The better responsive pads usually also produce more dust and are harder on the rotors, though, so pick your poison.
