I leased my gs 300 and am obviously concerned with voiding any type of warranty by customizing my ride. What's the most I can do? I was told I could put rims on but could not mess with the suspension.

In all honesty, when you do a +3 or +4 wheel fitment you MUST lower the vehicle. Especially a car with a shape like the GS, with that bubble (humpback) roof. I am not attempting to be a perfectionist in any way, but the lines of the car are really molested when its raised 3-4" from its factory height, and moreso in the front.
Since you are in Cali, a compentent shop will swap in a set of springs/shocks for you for about 180-225 bucks I imagine. Add about 100-120 for the alignment and you are all set. When returning the car simply reverse this process. It is a very simple (for a mechanice) procedure
You can get some nice Daizen, Espelir or even Ltuned springs for about 250-350, shocks are about 300-350 I believe (L-tuned).
Good luck, post pics when you are done!! What wheels do yo have?
