Default Need a Good Deal on Lower Control Arms

I need to replace my front lower control arms on my 93 sc400. I got 232k on it. I am just going with the full arm replacement cause i currentley have Dazien bushings on there and they are the worst, everything from skeaky to a hard ride. No thanks. So if any of you guys have a good deal on some control arms let me know. New would be my preference but will consider used depending on mileage. Alos if there are any other things you guys think i should replace suspenssion wise. Thanks

Poly bushings = harder ride = it's doing what it's supposed to be doing.
squeeks = improper greasing

I have the full Daizen set, everything from camber kit to sway bushings to control arm uppers and lowers. No squeeks and I had them since day 1 of their release. I regreased 2 bushings in front once last year and that's it. The ride is stiffer definitely, then again I still ride my SC with coilovers at 11f and 13r. I love the super stiff ride

check that thread, there are part number for replacing the bushings only.

for complete lower control arms, contact Steve @ Carson Toyota. PM him here. His handle is SupraTRD. The Supra LCA's are about $198 ea, are a direct bolt in replacement for the SC3/4 and come complete with ball joints and bushes.

Are they different, but fit? Or are they identical to the Lexus LCAs?

They have beefier bushes. Other than that, they are the same. They put the wheel in the same exact spot as the Lexus LCA's.

Cool thanks for all the posts guys. One question with the supra LCA's are tthe busshings rubber or are they poly. Reason i ask is because i beleive the OEM for the SC400 are rubber and want to get back to that softer ride.

Sorry to beat this issue to death, but it sounds like there's no reason to ever buy Lexus LCA's, or even those stock replacement bushings that Julian has discussed, if identical arms are available for $198 each. The cost of the bushings and the labor to burn them out and press in new ones just about equals or exceeds the cost of the Supra LCAs, and you'd still have to worry about the ball joints.

Do I have it right or am I missing something?

is that price for the front lca's only? my rear lca bushings are done for after 180k miles and if its only $198 a peice i may consider this instead of going through the trouble of putting in new bushings.

You have valid point if you use outside labor to fix your car.

For mechanicly inclined choice is simple $120 versus $400....
