Finally got my Hipermax IIs (woohoo) and got'em installed.... i just need to adjust the dampening

since these came straight from HKS Japan.... the instructions are in japanese..


clockwise to stiffen and counter to go softer?

also... i know it's 30-way adjustable.... how do i know when i've gone full-stiff? will it stop turning?

I know some coilovers... you can actually break it... like if it's 16 way adjustable... you can go all the way stiff and it'll stop.... but you have to count the clicks going backwards (to go soft) because you can click past 16 and break the valves.

anyone know if it's the same for the HKS?

You can turn the fully cw & ccw to the stops without breaking them. Then you get a feel for how they ride.

BTW... for those wondering... MY GOODNESS how smooth and comfotable these coilovers are straight from the factory (no adjustments)

I'll make a seperate posts with pics when i get it all sorted out.
