Question KYB Shocks/ Tanabe Springs

Has anyone installed the KYB GR-2 shocks and/or the Tanabe NF210 lowering springs? I got a recommendation from a very reputable performance shop that this combination was the best for lowering my GS 1 1'2" without sacrificing the smooth ride quality that I want to keep, and still give some increase in performance. Any information would be appreciated. Thank You.

i was going to use tanabe springs also but i was going to use them with tokiko shocks. ive heard that the KYB blow out faster but i dont have personal experience with them. ive used tokiko on my other cars and they work just fine. i havent dropped my lex yet but im also looking for the best shocks with tanabe springs.

The Tanabe NF springs ride like stock. only 10% stiffer. I friend of mine had them in his IS300 and they rode great.

Tanabe says that you can use stock shocks and they will work fine.

I have the GF210 with LTuned shocks.....I love my drop and my ride....it rides even better than stock....the spring ratio is as close to stocks as it gets with spring/shock combos....I've never used any other brand shocks so I can't comment on tokico or anything else....Here is a pic of my drop

Hey....I'm on 20x9 with 245/35/20 Sumitomo's.....I had to roll the fenders and on a 9 inch wide wheel it stretches my tire so I can clear easier....I should run a 255 but I know I would rub.....The camber is a little off in the rear... have a friend of mine who has a good alignment shop and did as much as possible to make it positive....It is an aggressive drop though....either way here is another pic with my camera phone...its not all that great of a pic..
