will any alignment do or there is an actual difference. I went to a tire shop the other day (best tire) and they charged like 80 bucks for an alignment and 100+ for "exotic car" alignment. Whatever that's suppose to mean. Are they charging more because of the rim size? I heard they gotta use a diff machine if you have rims larger than 17's. Also is there specs i should have the car aligned to or are the stock specs the way to go.

alignments should be all the same. try to find one that is done by hand. you won't regret it!

hrm they actually do it by hand? I don't know any shop around here that does that.. I see them using some arm and they jam it into your wheels/rims. It cringe just thinking about them doing that to my rims. How safe is that?

dunno. i wouldn't if you had 19's. if they did that, they might tear up the beads on the rim/tire. go someplace else that will not charge for the exotic car charge. that's a bunch of BS. is there a place in NY called "vodie's?"

i took my car to get alighned at NTB they charged me $60 then a week later i lowered my car and they say sears bought them out and now they will need to charge me 180 for "Specialty" alighment. screw that and then i went to another guy (one man shop) he says drop off your car in the morning (8am) and leave it there a whole day and charge me 150.00 for "special alighnment. these ppl are crazy. but when i was goin cross country i got stuck in utah i bought tires from there and the guy did my alighnment for no charge. (by hand)

Mine's like AUD$90 for a full 4 wheel alignment and wheel balance... woohoo go Pedders!!!

i got mine aligned for 60 bucks at bear frame and wheel, brought it closest to stock specs

it's on grand and arrow, their driveway is kind of steep tho and when the person took my car to test it, i got scared cuz i thought he'd scrape real bad
