I always took that to be the case....
not really, to me it's that you can drp the car to the height i want. i would never wanna slam my car

yeah but realistically, how often do you change your ride height?? doing so would require an alignment each time...

I had JICs in my maxima because I wanted it SLAMMED....and after doing so, made me rethink the whole coilover concept and idea (driving around in NYC could be most of the reason why)

just my $.02

imo doing the coilover route is not only for the ability to raise and lower the car at will (for you are right about the alignment part) but moreover to get a truly balanced and dynamically matched setup for opt perf..

i went through many setups before finally giving in to the coilover and like all others have said , man if only i had done this from the start..i would never do anything but coils in the future

no i hardly adjust the height. the first month i got my coilovers i adjusted it a lot to get to the height i love, and i stay there (only spray with wd40 and turn a bit to make sure it's good that's all). however, to get to the height that i want now, no springs can do. my car isn't slam but it's lower than normal. and the handling of my car is a lot better now too

Wow, even on a stock GS, the drop makes it look soo nice. Can't wait to see what this secret surprise will make it look like.
