I had JICs in my maxima because I wanted it SLAMMED....and after doing so, made me rethink the whole coilover concept and idea (driving around in NYC could be most of the reason why)

imo doing the coilover route is not only for the ability to raise and lower the car at will (for you are right about the alignment part) but moreover to get a truly balanced and dynamically matched setup for opt perf..
i went through many setups before finally giving in to the coilover and like all others have said , man if only i had done this from the start..i would never do anything but coils in the future
