What you don't notice on the pics is that there is lots of rust where the bar snapped wich tells me that it must have happend a while ago. But with all the mods, my car handled better than the last 540i M that I test drove a few weeks ago. I think i know what the weird sounds my car was making when i was going slow were from now.

Hmmmm...interesting break.
I suspect you were running OEM bushings with this TRD sway, and it degraded to the point where the metal bushing bracket was rubbing against the sway bars (thus the presence of rust....road salt probably played a part too ) which made that area weak, and eventually snap. Just a theory.

I did break my front TRD blue Sway bar at the Dragon last year. VVTi had to send my GS to get the bar welded.
