How about EBC green?
Its not that they wear faster it is that after they get heated up they are not effective at stopping the car. You push them but they just wont lock up the wheels

IMO same discussion we're having here Chuck - I don't think the Crossdrilled really make any difference in the pad choice.

allright-I just didn't know if some aftermarket rotors may be made of harder or softer material.

Also, do slotted or drilled rotors wear pads quicker due to the "cheese grater" effect?

how do u like them so far Neo? i'm going to change my pads this month coming and wanted to try something else. also where could i order the axxix deluxe or metal masters pads?

Brake assist came in on 2000 model (I have it).

For street driving, I like them. I think it could use a little more bite but I don't know if I'm going to get more dust and noise if I go to the Metal Masters. I don't know how they would feel on OEM brakes though. The Deluxe Plus with my brake upgrade is soft enough that it has a soft OEM feel while giving the braking a much more linear controlled feel. I don't know though if a pad upgrade alone on OEM brakes would yield the same result. It might be similar but there is no way for me to know.

As to where, I got mine from TM Engineering.

I got the Axxis ultimates, they are real noisy and not clamping well when cold. But after a few redlights, the brakes become real nice and clamp down hard.

same here on the noise (not the cold stopping though), also the dust problem, these things are dusty. The performance is great, but when I make some braking changes, I will be going to the Deluxe (unless we get some better feedback from Bit on the MetalMasters.

I ordered 4 dimpled/slotted premium(not the cheap ebay specials) today with axxis metal master brake pads so they will be on within 2 weeks.

I can't wait to here from bitkahuna's experience as well.

If you go to groupbuycenter . com they are having an AWESOME sale on the Axxis pads.

***this is not a link to the groupbuy - just the pricing of the pads***
