Only certain aftermarket wheels are lighter. Forged wheels are the lightest. The Volk TE-37's and the RacingHart CP-035's are among the lightest wheels...

Volk SE37K's or LE37K's are tight...Lexani's on the other hand (any of them) are wacked ghetto wheels...don't disgrace your IS with those...

Speaking of light, just FYI the Axis Se7en's are not light...in 19x8 they're 28 lbs...in comparison, some 3-piece HRE's in *20*x9.5 are around 27 lbs. They are great looking wheels (the Axis), but I would have personally done the REAL deal...the Intensive Hunks (or DazzMatiz as they're know in the U.S.)

Also, don't get chromed wheels...they weigh a ton.

Dubs = 20" wheels or larger...19" is not considered "dubs". Just FYI.

LStyleIS - Who's rear spoiler is that?

Hey.

Are you running the same sized tire on all for corners, or are the rears on your car wider than the front?

I recently bought VOLK GT7's for my IS. I have 18x8 +44 for the front and 18x9 +50 for the rear. As for tires I'm thinking of 225x40x18 for the front and 245x40x18 for the rear. I have a fender roller in case I have to roll a little, but I'm thinking that I shouldn't have to roll too much. I have an SC300 running VOLK GTP's @ 18x9 in the front (245x40x18 tire) and 18x10 in the rear (275x35x18). I had to roll the fender a little on that car, but everything was perfect afterwards.

Do you have a straight rear shot of you IS? I'd like to see how wide the 235's are. I MAY go 235's if they suite my taste AND I can get away with no fender rolling.

Thanks,

With those tires and body cladding you better not drive on ANYTHING but a glass-smooth road.
Don't even try to come out of the average driveway.
