I am in the process of getting 19"s for my IS. I also wanted to lower it but was not sure how low I can go w/o any camber problems. I will be running a 225/35 tire. Any respone will be appreciated.
P.S. If any of you guys had any recommendations of rims that would be cool as well

How low do you want to go? I have a friend with 19s on her car and there's close to no gap at all.. As for rims, I like SE37K from VolkRacing. You should go check out dazz motorsorts for rime. They got a great selection.

Hey whats going on Evo_IS
As for a drop I was thinking of doing the H&R springs. I would like to go as low as possible as long as a dont have camber problems (as you know 19" tires arent easy on the wallet). I was really considering the chrome giovanna Kobe, or poss. the 2 piece Niche Bella. Who knows?? Once I get some pics I will post them. Thanks for your response.

slammed on teens!!!!
I was under the impression that to lower a car on 19's you have to
roll the fenders?? I have been reading this a few different places i could be wrong, and i do belive getting the right off-set is essential. As for rims if your going for bling the two rims i,ve seen are the lsportline mdel 4 i think, and the lexani amethysts, i went a little cheaper and am getting 18 inch chrome neepers!!!

Guys,
Isn't that 17" rims are heavy already? Why put heavier like 18" or 19", just wondering about the ride does it consume more gas mileage? Or just care about the look of the car?
