l-tuned shocks?
i just got my l-tuned suspension in and was wondering if the l-tuned shocks comes in just a brown box with no lables.. the springs has "l-tuned" on them and the box.. but was curious if the shocks were something else.

I'm sure they're better and nice to have the adjustability, but are they 3 times as good? I will probably use the money saved to add stiffening to suspension and chassis such as STB and LCB.

I have the l-tuned shocks, Eibach Springs, Tom's Rear Brace, Daizen Sways, TRD STB and 19" staggered setup on my GS430. Perfect drop, great handling, comfortable ride. If I want anything more aggressive, I hop into the S2000.
It all depends on personal preference.

what's wrong with em?? lol! where to begin??
I had KYB GR2's for my maxima.....they were OK in the beginning....
problem with KYB's- they are OEM replacements!!!!!!!! they aren't meant to take a lowering spring to the fullest longevitity.....after some time (depending upon how the car is driven and where it is driven) they tend to lose their rebounding abilities and tend to become extremely bouncy...
I had mine on for 10k, and they became CRAZY bouncy...and that was with a 1.4" drop
This is exactly why I opted for the bilsteins...bilsteins are meant to take lowering springs and can compensate for it with a higher spring rate.....yah they will be stiffer, but the extra stiffness is miniscule...
cliff notes: you get what you pay for..... ($400 or so for l-tuned springs/shocks or $450 for bilstein shocks alone)
