what size bolt is the bolt that holds the rear rotor?

ok where i circled in red you need a 2 bolts (the holes should be threaded)
put the bolt in there and screw it in
this is how you "pop " off the rotor
where i cirlced red spray some WD-40 to help get it it off

yeah i tried the two screw things and it didnt work. i either sheared off the threads on the hole or the screw...
i went to acehardware and the dude told me he wouldnt recommend buying the screws from him coz the bolt might snap.. he told me to try and get a grade A bolt (the greenish ones) just to be on the safe side..
btw on my first attempt i used bolts that were m7-1.00 and it screwed on fine but when i tightened it , it just came undone ...
im going to try the rubber hammer thing maybe that will work.
let me recap on what i have done so far:
1 - removed the wheel
2 - removed the 2 bolts that held the caliper
- this is where im stuck, did i forget to undo any more bolts?

if the rubber hammer doesnt work use a metal mini sledge
just have to hit it right and NOT on the rotor
on the tophat
just have to break the rust
im not sure so dont quote me on this but when you put it back on put a little anti-seize
around the paqrt i circled so next time it will be easier to take off
if anyone thinks this is wrong to do chime in
im assuming you are changing rotors ???
if not then there really is no need to take off the rotor unless your are bringing to a mechanic
so they can "cut or "turn" the rotors

ahhh you gave up too easy
a couple of good wacks and it would have freed right up
but i understand if this is your first time
why were you going to have the rears cut anyway

my rears need resurfacing i can feel the groves on them.
i gave up because i borrowed my moms car so i could take my rotors off and take them too the autoparts store, but as i was posting on CL my mom called me and told me she needed her car back.
i wacked the crap out of the rotor with a rubber hammer and sprayed wd-40 no luck.. i even did a little search on CL and read about adjusting the brake adjuster i tried that too still no luck... probally sometime next week i'll try it again before i really give up and submit to getting it professionaly done.
*ahem* JPI u need to open a shop down here like how we discussed.

this is where you need to insert a ??mm ( i used a bolt i found in the garage from left over car parts. the head of the screw was 12mm if that helps) bolt into the already threaded holes on the rotor. just look at the pictures above. they are the small holes closest to the hub. the holes are there and they are already prethreaded, i did this the other day. just look again. the hard part was finding a bolt that fits the holes. just insert and screw them in. trust me, once you find a screw to fit the hole it is really easy.

Hammer It
I hate to sat it but get a sledge. Sometimes you need a sledge tap for a bit at one spot and then spin the rotor and tap at another spot and keep working it around untill it comes off. You will definetly want to get it resurfaced with grooves nd hopefully yoiu don't warp it to bad by banging on it. Rotors aren't that expensive you might want to check into some new ones.

im back at it again.... i still cant get it off! i tried the other side this time still no luck... my dad's friend thats here with me says i need to remove that black bolt in the center the big 32mm one. do i need to?
